Every age group thinks about what the building structures will be in future. For such thinkers, the address of Laurent Kronental is the answer. The photographer from France had spent last 4 years filming the senior citizens and how they are living in the large housing projects (Grands Ensembles) in Paris that were established amid 1950s to 1980s. The artist felt it a necessity to look at the living conditions of the neglected generation. Exposing such underestimated as well as unsung areas is a way of revealing poetry of the ageing environments vanishing gradually and modernist utopia along with them.
